How much do you use per bath?
We recommend around ⅓ of a cup; however, feel free to use as little or as much as you like!
How long does the bag last?
This is different for everyone and will vary based on how much of our Soothing Soak you use and how often you use it.
Is it made with Epsom salt?
No, our Soothing Soaks contain sea salt rather than Epsom salt. Sea salt comes from evaporated seawater and contains valuable minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Sea salt can help with skin exfoliation and hydration.
Is it made with Essential Oils?
No, our Soothing Soaks are not made with essential oils. All of our products are made with perfume grade fragrance oils.
Are there other ways to use this other than in a bathtub?
Our Soothing Soaks were tested and created for use in the bathtub only.

What is the sponge made of?
It is 100% natural wool. Our sea sponge is biodegradable and is suitable for all skin types!
What are the benefits of the sponge?
These natural and sustainable sponges are great for lightly exfoliating skin, as well as cleansing dirt, sweat and impurities from your skin. They contain natural minerals which are also beneficial for your skin!
Is the sea sponge hard or soft when using it on your skin?
The sea sponge is soft and gentle on your skin. Simply wet it before adding your favorite Topanga Scents Goat’s Milk Soap!
How do you clean it?
Let the sponge dry completely between each use. Never put the sponge in the dryer, microwave, boiling water, or bleach. Also, do not twist or pull apart. To disinfect, soak the sponge in either ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide or 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with 1 cup of warm water. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry.
How long will it last?
With proper care, your sponge will last for years! A care instruction card is included with the purchase of each sponge.
How do I keep it preserved?
Make sure the sponge air dries after each use. Also, avoid twisting or pulling the sponge after use, as this can damage and tear the sponge’s natural fibers. A care instruction card is included with the purchase of each sponge.
Does it mold?
If the provided care instructions are followed properly, your sponge will not mold.
